Day at the Museum

One of our ACS eighth grade students received a personal invitation from Mike Rubell from the Morris Rubell Memorial Journey to spend the day at the Holocaust Museum in Washington, D.C.  Every year Mr. Rubell, the son of a holocaust survivor, invites several students to all expense paid visit to the museum and gives them the opportunity to tour the museum, meet historians, and meet Holocaust survivors.

The student gave a stellar presentation to his peers about all the information he learned and created a PowerPoint with pictures and facts about World War II and the Jewish Holocaust.
