Middle School

Middle school is already back into the swing of working hard!  The seventh and eighth graders came together and started presenting their summer reading projects.  The assignment required each student to select a nonfiction book of their choice and create a PowerPoint or video presentation for their class.  Students presented on scientist, athletes and historical events.  The presentations have been outstanding! The middle school teachers are looking forward to a productive and amazing school year!

Renovating Before the School Bell Rings

While students are on summer vacation, the school administration have been busy this summer making improvements to school grounds and building. Among the projects completed are the new cement front driveway, the playground/parking lot have been patched and resealed, a new porcelain tile floor installed in the cafeteria, bathrooms plumbing repairs were done and many other upgrades that aren’t as apparent to the naked eye. Our maintenance staff spent the summer scrubbing, waxing floors and repairing broken or damaged items in order to get our school ready for students. The school doors are open. Parents, we know you want the best for your children! So do we! At ACS your children will be safe and they will learn.

Kindergarten Graduation 2015

The Kindergarten class has graduated to first grade this past Monday. They had a wonderful program prepared for the proud family and friends. Our kindergarten students have been working so hard this year in their first formal year of instruction. Their enthusiasm for learning and energy have been rewarding for their teacher Mrs. Maria Derevenska and all of those who have encountered them throughout the year.
