Today we celebrated a remarkable milestone as our eighth-grade graduates are ready to embark on their next chapter. It was a beautiful day filled with faith, gratitude, laughter, proud tears, and unforgettable memories.
Our celebration began with a meaningful liturgy, reminding us that every accomplishment is a blessing and every new beginning is guided by God’s hand. The awards ceremony that followed was a joyful tribute to the hard work, resilience, and achievements of our graduates.
As I reflected on this class and the many lessons we’ve shared togetherโsome through conversations, some through encouragement, and yes, even through a few lunch detentions and occasional yelling
โI wanted to leave them with a message that has stayed with me:
โI wanted to leave them with a message that has stayed with me:“Pressure is a privilege.”
Pressure means you’re in the arena. It means you’re pursuing something that matters. As our graduates enter high school, there will be challenges, uncertainty, and moments when they feel stretched beyond their comfort zones. In those moments, I hope they remember that pressure is often a sign of growth and opportunity.
Most importantly, I hope they remember that they never face those challenges alone. God walks beside them every step of the way.
Always know that your worth is not found in grades, trophies, popularity, or accomplishments. Your worth is found in the simple truth that you are a beloved child of God.
“For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans for your welfare and not for harm, to give you a future with hope.” -Jeremiah 29:11:
To the ACS Class of 2026: Be courageous. Be kind. Be faithful. Welcome challenges, trust in the gifts God has given you, and walk confidently into your future knowing that He goes before you and walks beside you.
Thank you to our parents, teachers, staff, and supporters for your unwavering love and guidance. Your dedication helped make this day possible. And to our benefactors; over $5,000 in awards were given today and our students are beyond grateful.
Congratulations, graduates! We are immensely proud of each and every one of you. May God continue to bless and guide your journey ahead.
