The Class of 2024 spent this evening working in St. John’s Soup Kitchen in Perth Amboy, which has been serving residents for over 17 years! They arrived early to help Father Mike set up and feed about 75 hungry people. They served homemade chicken rice soup, baked ziti, salad, Italian bread, and a dessert. Students learned every detail of preparing and serving and they did it with a smile. At the end of the evening, some very tired yet, happy eighth graders left with an appreciation of giving back to their community.
